Scientific Visit of Leibniz Supercomputer Centre (LRZ)

The Leibniz Supercomputer Centre of the Bavarian Academy of Sciences and Humanities (LRZ) is organizing a scientific visit to the national supercomputer site on the Garching campus (north of Munich). As the number of participants for the visit is restricted, we recommend strongly to make a reservation via email. Transport to Garching is easy using the subway (university line U6 until the last stop "Forschungsgelände Garching/TUM"). The visit starts at the LRZ Centre, Boltzmannstrasse 1 in Garching, at the main entrance, on October 20, 2009 at 17:00. The duration of the visit is 1 hour approximately. The visit includes a tour in the "supercomputer cube" and a short overview on the work at LRZ in general.
